The Perception Gap

Many good companies are underestimated online.

Not because their work isn't good enough. But because their presence doesn't show how good they really are.

First Impression

Before anyone calls, writes, or refers you, your company has already been judged online. In seconds, a feeling forms: clear or unclear, high-quality or interchangeable, trustworthy or not.

Invisible Losses

The most expensive losses are the ones that never reach your inbox: clients who don't enquire. Applicants who don't apply. Referrals that go elsewhere.

Readable for Humans and Machines

Digital visibility no longer ends at Google. AI systems also read public signals: clarity, structure, authority, content, and context. What isn't clearly readable gets recommended less often.

Most companies don't have a quality problem. They have a perception problem. This is exactly the gap Seethaler Studio closes.

Creative Strategy

Before anything is designed, it must be clear what should be understood.

Most projects start with the wish for a new website. The real question almost always sits underneath it: how should a company be perceived, understood, and remembered?

What should someone grasp the moment they first encounter the company? What feeling stays? What quality is already there but not yet visible enough? Which story carries? What friction holds people back?

That's where my work begins: with positioning, language, and perception — not with design. Sometimes the result is a website. Sometimes a brand, a content system, or simply a sharper story. Form follows the question.

Background

Builder first.
Designer second.

I'm Maximilian Seethaler — most people call me Max.

Before I supported companies with their digital presence, I built my own brands: music projects, labels, communities, websites, systems, and digital products. Along the way I learned how attention is created — and why attention alone is worthless unless it turns into trust.

Over 300 million streams, international brand projects, and more than 450 works across media, music, and digital have shown me how perception works: it doesn't come from volume. It comes from clarity, context, and the sense that everything fits together.

Today I use that experience for companies whose quality isn't visible clearly enough online.

Experience across brand, media, and digital — including projects for:

and many more projects across brand, media, and digital.

Approach

Good impact doesn't need to be louder.
It needs to be more coherent.

Seethaler Studio is built on the conviction that digital presences no longer need more effects, but more inner logic.

When proportion, language, typography, structure, and technology work together, a presence emerges that feels self-evident. Not overloaded. Not artificial. Simply right.

I'm not only interested in whether something looks good. I'm interested in whether a company is read more accurately because of it.

Collaboration

Direct to work with. Calm in the result.

No agency machine. No handoffs. No unnecessary review loops. Collaboration begins with a question, not a brief: what actually needs to be solved here? The result often looks different from what was first imagined — and holds together because of it.

01

Direct collaboration

You work directly with me. No account managers, no handoffs, and no sense that someone first has to get up to speed on your business.

02

Design with restraint

The work does not become louder than it needs to be. It becomes clearer, calmer, and better aligned with your business. That is what gives it weight.

03

Technically maintained

Hosting, updates, security, and minor technical fixes are included in the first year. The site does not just launch cleanly. It stays that way.

Services

What comes together
in a project.

Seethaler Studio combines creative strategy, design, copy, and technical execution. Not as separate trades, but as one connected system.

Strategic Partnership

When the website isn't the real problem.

Some companies don't need a new website. They need clarity on how they want to be perceived.

Then the website is only the most visible result of a larger body of work: creative strategy, positioning, language, brand development, sales materials, content systems, and digital presence as one connected system.

This work can happen as a project or on a monthly basis — especially when a company is evolving and its presence should grow with it.

Project Scope

Every project begins
with framing.

Some projects need a precise landing page. Others need positioning, structure, website, a content system, and ongoing partnership. That's why the work doesn't start with a package, but with a conversation about what actually needs to be solved.

01

Digital Presence

For companies that want to rebuild their presence — clearer, higher-quality, and technically clean.

02

Strategy & Website

For companies where not just the website, but positioning, language, and perception need sharpening.

03

Ongoing Partnership

For companies that want to develop, maintain, and strategically sharpen their digital presence over the long term.

How I Work

Don't design first.
Understand first.

Every project begins with the question of what actually needs to be solved. Sometimes it's the website. Often it's the positioning behind it. Only once that question is clear does a presence emerge that holds.

01

Diagnosis

We locate where the gap between actual quality and current external impression appears: structure, language, offer, imagery, trust, technology, and visibility.

02

Strategy

From the diagnosis comes a clear direction: how should the company be perceived? What needs to be understood first? Which message carries?

03

Execution

The strategy becomes visible: website, structure, copy, visual language, technical build, SEO foundation, performance, and privacy.

04

Partnership

A good presence isn't a finished poster. It can be developed, sharpened, and adapted to new offers, markets, or audiences.

If your website should do your work more justice, let's talk.

A short conversation to figure out what makes sense online, what does not, and whether there is a fit. No pitch deck. No pressure. Just a clear point of view.
